Day trip to Victoria Falls
Overview
A day trip to Victoria Falls from Kasane (Botswana) is a popular and feasible add-on to any Chobe adventure, as the falls are only about 70-80 km away (roughly 1-1.5 hours drive each way, plus border time). Most visitors opt for the Zimbabwe side (Victoria Falls town), which offers superior views with about 75% more viewing points, better perspectives of the full width (especially in wet season), and a more comprehensive rainforest walk. The Zambian side (Livingstone) provides a dramatic "knife-edge" view of the Eastern Cataract but fewer overall angles and can feel more limited unless water levels are very high.

Get drenched in spray (magical in high water), spot rainbows, and enjoy the roar.

Afternoon Return: Re-cross border (usually smoother returning to Botswana), back to Kasane by late afternoon/evening.
